Meet the Finesse Team:
Peter J. Kruy, M.D.,
Founder and Medical Director
Dr. Kruy received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Tufts University
School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He is also a graduate of
The Wharton School, at the University of Pennsylvania where he
earned a Masters in Business Administration and the University of
Pennsylvania where he completed his pre-medical course work in
biology. Dr. Kruy’s post-graduate medical training was at
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, a major teaching
affiliate of the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Kruy is a Diplomate
of the National Board of Medical Examiners and has been a licensed
physician in Massachusetts since 1990. He has personally
trained with many of the leading physicians in North America who
have pioneered treatments in cosmetic and laser surgery.
His clinical interest and expertise is in aesthetic medicine
particularly the use of lasers in liposuction and skin rejuvenation. He is a fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery
and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the
Massachusetts Medical Society.
Edwin
Ishoo, M.D., FACS, Facial Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Ishoo
graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann
Arbor, MI after
earning a
BA from the University of California at Berkeley. He
subsequently completed his Otolaryngology residency at Boston
University as well as a fellowship in
Head and Neck Surgery including Facial Plastic & Reconstructive
Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Ishoo is Board
Certified in Otolaryngology and a member of the prestigious American
Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons as well as a
fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ishoo has
served as faculty at the University of Illinois and University of
New Mexico medical schools. Dr. Ishoo has published and
lectured extensively and has trained medical students and surgical
residents. Dr. Ishoo has extensive experience in minimally
invasive facial rejuvenation procedures including face lifts, neck
lifts, removal of excess fat and skin from upper and lower eye lids
(blepharoplasty)
as well as liposuction and body contouring using
laser lipolysis and liposelection by ultrasound.
Nicole Billings, Licensed
Medical Aesthetician and Practice Manager
Nicole is a graduate of the most advanced Medical Aesthetic training
at the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics and earned her
Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Psychology from UMass
Amherst. She has achieved an impressive range of certifications in
advanced laser therapies and other advanced medical aesthetic
technologies. Nicole always goes above and beyond for her clients
and for our practice to build lasting relationships, and continuously
seeks better ways to serve our clients. She is instrumental in
managing our practice and our internal infrastructure. She
exemplifies the highest standards of excellence that Finesse Laser
Center
represents.
Lisa Cataldo, Licensed Medical
Aesthetician
Lisa brings over 18 years of impressive aesthetic experience and
accomplishments to Finesse. A graduate of the most advanced
Medical Aesthetic training at the Catherine Hinds Institute of
Esthetics, Lisa also accomplished advanced training from the Laser
Institute of New England among many other laser certifications. She
was personally trained by Dr. Obagi in the Obagi Skin Transformation
System and Obagi Blue Peel, and has trained professionals in this
regimen. For most of her extensive career, she worked for one of
Boston’s most respected Dermatologists and also for a leading Boston
Plastic Surgeon. She is a member of the American Estheticians
Education Association and the Society of Plastic Surgical Skincare
Specialists.
Meredith Novello,
Licensed
Medical Aesthetician
Meredith
is a graduate of
Catherine Hinds Institutes 1,200 Hour Master Esthetics program
and brings over five years
of experience in aesthetics to
Finesse Laser Center.
She has advanced training in a multitude of laser and esthetic
technologies including laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation,
and laser body contouring. She is committed to providing caring and nurturing
service while educating her patients on how best to care for their
individual concerns. Meredith is also a professional make-up artist whose
success is grounded in her passion to
help her clients achieve their beauty goals.
Gail Pearlstein, RN, MSN,
Aesthetic Nurse
Gail received her
B.S. in Nursing from the American University School of Nursing, and
a Masters in Nursing science from Catholic University in Washington
DC. She worked many years in the field of Nephrology and HIV
clinical research, and has served as an adjunct professor of nursing
at Middlesex College and Northeastern University. In 2002, Gail
moved into the field of aesthetic nursing, earning certification as
a laser nurse. She was the owner and lead clinician at Metrowest
Laser and Skin Center in Natick, MA until 2007, and a clinical
aesthetic nurse at Forever Young Skin in Wellesley, MA until
joining Finesse. Gail is also an advanced certified lash extension
technician through Novalash and a trained make-up artist who works
with the chronically ill and those undergoing cancer treatment.
